We will once again be gathering in front of the hospital this Saturday, April 30th from 6:30 am to 10 am to peacefully protest the destruction currently happening the garden, and to inform the community about the importance of this healing garden and ways to get involved with our cause.
Today, the rear portion of the Prouty Garden remains closed to the people who need it most - including the rear lawn, the gazebo, private spaces, and of course, the healing Dawn Redwood tree. We respectfully implore the hospital to please STOP the destruction and REOPEN the entire Prouty Garden to the Longwood community - especially the children who so rely on sitting beneath that Redwood tree to find hope and solace.
In honor of Arbor Day, please come help us preserve this precious healing space. To RSVP, please go to our Facebook event page, found here: https://www.facebook.com/events/1210148409003363/.
